Windows & doors with aging or damage
Drafts. Fogged glass. Doors that stick. Moisture around trim.
We repair or install energy-efficient replacement windows and doors in vinyl, fiberglass, and wood-clad options for homes across Cambridge, Isanti, North Branch, and surrounding MN & WI communities by identifying the real issue — and fixing it correctly the first time.
Solving it at the root cause.
We often uncover installation issues, aging flashing details, hidden moisture intrusion, or minor structural movement that was never fully corrected.
Replacing the unit alone doesn’t resolve those conditions.
Addressing the root cause does.

We inspect beyond the surface:
- Flashing details
- Rough opening condition
- Framing integrity and structural movement
- Insulation gaps and air sealing
- Signs of long-term moisture exposure
- Threshold support and load transfer
- Drywall and moldings
- Code compliance and manufacturer specs
We solve for hidden issues:
- Water intrusion around the rough opening
- Rot hidden beneath exterior trim
- Soft or deteriorating sheathing
- Improperly sealed house wrap
- Failed caulking that hides deeper issues
- Settling that throws doors out of square
- Insert installs covering structural problems
- Staining or swelling inside wall cavities

We finish the job completely:
- Wood, vinyl, steel window installation
- Interior casing and trim replacement
- Extension jamb adjustments
- Drywall patching where required
- Proper air sealing and insulation
- Exterior trim and cladding repairs
- Caulking and weatherproof sealing
- Threshold adjustments
- Minor framing corrections
We evaluate the opening, the structure, and the moisture management — not just the product.
Done correctly. Finished completely.
BEFORE & AFTERS
See our transformations

This Cambridge, MN home had a 20+ year-old front door that was drafty, not closing properly, and ready for an upgrade. The new door gives the entry a tighter seal, smoother function, and a cleaner look that elevations the curb appeal.

The red house in Isanti County had underlying water damage that needed to be addressed before the exterior could be put back together the right way. After repairs, the home is protected again and ready for the long term.

What looked like routine maintenance under the aluminum wrap turned out to include some severely rotted posts. We knew what to look for, addressed the damage properly, and made sure the structure was repaired the right way.
We’re a good fit for you if you:
- See your home as a long-term investment
- Want to understand what’s actually causing the issue
- Care about doing it right the first time
We’re probably not the right fit if you:
- Are only comparing the lowest price
- Prefer skipping a full evaluation
- Just want a fast swap without understanding the system

Happy Homeowners
"Kevin was deeply informative on what products I should use. I was super happy when I saw it all done. Still getting compliments on it!"
Mike Dunham
Dresser, WI
“Our windows were over 30 years old, and Kevin took the time to walk us through different window options, types, and materials. We are very pleased with his workmanship. He cleaned up every day, matched our existing woodwork perfectly, and was great to work with.”
Mark Pocrnich

Customized homes require thinking — not templates.
Homes that are a little older weren’t assembled like today’s production builds. They require careful evaluation of flashing, framing transitions, insulation, and moisture paths. Cookie-cutter solutions don’t work here — thinking does.
